Toyohashi, Aichi, Japan｜Musashi Shohonten

Everything is just volumey and taste really good. A place that has been in Toyohashi for 50yrs! And still stands famous for its tonkatsu(pork cutlet). There’s a lot on the menu so you might want to keep coming back and try a lot of things differently. Today I was shocked on how soft the meat of the Jowaraji Tonkatsu(on 3/7)! I really recommend it. Oh and before your orders come there will be Japanese pickled vegetables and cabbage so your table and tummy will be really full and satisfied by the time you leave the place. There is a limited space for parking in front of the restaurant but a very big parking space just at the back so you don’t have to worry even on weekends/holidays.

After seeing Hayao Miyazaki's first work in ten years at United Cinemas, I asked Mr. Musashi, who had been on my mind for a long time. Miso cutlet with rice is excellent. Good indeed. This is good. The soft thick part does not straddle. If you want to eat miso katsu in Higashi Mikawa, this is the place. I'll come back later.
