Odawara, Kanagawa, Japan｜Tonkatsu Wabuta

An excellent choice for a quick and affordable meal just outside of Odawara Station. Their lunch time tonkatsu plate special is a fantastic bargain (¥1200) and most of their other dishes are less than ¥2000). Service was attentive and we got in and out in 30 minutes so it's a good option if you have a train to catch.

Yummy and good cost. If you like Tonkatsu, this is the place for you. Cooked perfectly with exactly the right portion size for hungry people. Side menu choices include things like croquettes and shrimp fry so if you’re STILL hungry, there are choices. Up on the second level so a bit hard to find if you aren’t looking. Go up the stairs or up one level of the escalator and then go to your left. You’ll see a glass door at the end of a small hallway and it’s the first shop on your right.

The Tonkatsu at this restaurant was very good. The staff is friendly and the food was served fast. Tonkatsu reminds me a lot on Schnitzel, it is similar and still different. Overall a great place!
