Otsu, Shiga, Japan｜Katsukura Otsu

Manager was very attentive and asked if we needed help with the menu to understand the difference between the different kinds of pork. The cheapest tonkatsu is from Canadian pork. The mid-priced and higher priced versions are Japanese Sangenbuta. We tried the mid and upper priced versions and added an order of fried scallops. More than enough food, delicious. ¥4,700 for 2 PAX. No complaints.

A favorite restaurant for its consistent deliciousness and courteous customer service. In the tatami room, I don't think the depth of the table, chairs, and horigotatsu match. It's also a waiting area for employees, so I don't feel at ease. However, the fried oysters and fillet cutlet were excellent. Miso soup and pickles are both delicious.

This is a very delicious tonkatsu restaurant. It's a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it once you eat it. Not only the loin cutlet, but also the fillet cutlet, which has a soft finish. The large shrimp cutlet is a masterpiece♪ You can substitute rice, miso soup, and cabbage.
