Ama, Aichi, Japan｜Katsutoki Jimokuji

I've been to this restaurant often before, but I decided to try it out and compare. A week ago, I ate at a fairly famous grilled tonkatsu in Nakamura Ward, and this week I ate here. This tonkatsu was overwhelmingly delicious. I ordered the roast pork cutlet set meal with pork soup. It was so delicious that I ordered a second helping of rice, cabbage, and pork soup. This is a store I want to go to every day. The staff at the store were also kind and I had a very good impression of them.

I came to the store for the first time in 6 years (lol), and they had taken precautions against the coronavirus. I'm glad the menu has expanded. The items I ordered were different from my usual and new to me, so I ordered the mixed hot pot set meal. It’s been a while but it was still delicious! However, perhaps I asked for too much, and for the first time in the second half, I ended up leaving 2 slices of loin cutlet. I finished the cabbage, two large bowls of rice, and the pork soup. I can't eat as much as I did when I was younger. Next time I will order a little less. I had the mixed hot pot set meal and the plum perilla loin cutlet, which was refreshing and delicious. For my family, I ordered a loin cutlet & fried swordfish set, miso soup, and a limited time item.

Unlike other chains, the tonkatsu is delicious. It's a little more expensive than a typical chain restaurant, but the cutlet is seriously delicious. The store is old, but it's still great.
