7/3. Two people visited in the evening. On this day, a heavy rain and flood warning had been issued in Kanagawa Prefecture, and my plan to stay at a ryokan in Hakone was canceled due to road closures, so I decided to take a walk around Odawara Station, thinking that I could eat some delicious food before heading home. I ordered fried eggplant, flounder sashimi, and duck zaru soba. The flounder was fresh and fatty, and the kamozaru soba had thin noodles that went down easily and the duck stock was sweet and delicious. Then, we had a little chat with the owner of the store, and he gave us some souvenirs from Hakone for us. All the dishes were really delicious, but the most wonderful thing was the host's personality. I was relieved by the general's warmth and kindness. I'll definitely visit again if I'm nearby. thank you very much.
In addition to the seafood, the soba noodles are delicious. I think it's worth going just for the scent of soba and Nihachi's unique throat feel.
