Kyoto, Japan｜Washoku Sato Oishibashi Branch

This restaurant, unlike most in Japan, is quite big and has room for a lot of people. Yet, this washoku is always full after 19, so I would recommend making a reservation beforehand if you come between 19:00 and 22:00. The food was great, not too much not too little, although the side dishes were a bit on the smaller size. Furthermore, the staff was friendly and hospitable even when we had a few communication issues due to the language difference (a few of them can speak english fairly well). Great restaurant overall.

Barbecue buffet (not Wagyu), and beverage buffet requires additional payment, which is high quality and low price.

I've been there 2 times during my stay in Kyoto. The sukiyaki was very tasty, and the order system in English was convenient for a european traveller.
