More Comments at Google MapI ate tanuki (udon) on a moonlit night. The udon, the main dish, was so chewy that it was so chewy and delicious that it was hard to chew. Also, the supporting roles of dipping, seaweed, eggs, and wasabi were all working, so I never got tired of the taste. In addition, the drink was buckwheat tea and it was overflowing with the scent of the store soba, and the atmosphere was calm and wonderful. I think it's a place to stop by when you're nearby. (The wasabi is more tart than the commercially available one, and the eggs are soft-boiled and sweet.)
I had half-zaru soba and half-inaka soba. I had more of a preference for Nihachi, but both were very delicious. It was a soba restaurant that I would like to go back to again.
First of all, the soba noodles had sharp edges and the soup was thick and delicious. My family of 3 was about to order a tempura platter (3 types of mushrooms, 2 of each, shrimp and vegetables), and all 3 of us wanted to eat maitake mushrooms, so we were discussing whether to add the mushroom tempura platter. They only gave me 3 pieces of Maitake mushroom tempura.
