Zama, Kanagawa, Japan｜Kura Sushi Zama

Amazing taste but I was not familiar with this dish. So I just checked.

We had a great experience here. Since we got to Japan it’s been a challenge finding places that are suitable us with our 1 year old and our limited Japanese language skills. Kura has good booster seats and kid friendly options, the prices are great, and the food was delicious! The conveyor aspect is fun but also intuitive. The staff was very patient with our limited Japanese and made the whole experience so much less stressful. Highly recommended!!

For $1 conveyer belt sushi, it was great! One of the cheapest meals we’ve had in Japan. Plus you can play a game! For every 5 plates you slide down the chute on the table, you get a chance to play a little video game. The game plays itself so you just watch but if it wins then you get a chance to pick a Gatcha ball. We slide 25 plates down the chute, played 5 times and won once. It was fun and the sushi quality is good for the price.
