Shinjuku City, Tokyo, Japan｜Ganso Sushi Shinjuku Nishiguchi

I went on a weekday during lunch. Now although I don't speak Japanese, it's nice to watch the interactions between clientele making verbal orders and chefs making it on the spot. It inspires me to learn Japanese for next time! There was a large variety of sushi on the conveyor belts for me to choose from - in fact it was getting a little crowded as plates were slightly overlapping, so I had to take care taking out items. The hot matcha tea is self serve. At the end I said "sumimasen, check out" and they understood I wanted to pay. All in all, it was simple, affordable, and I enjoyed the ambience and the little rituals that went on.

Cheap but good quality sushi. Most of the sushi is priced 125 yen. Although their sushi price is cheap, they still serve you the best quality of this price. I’m happy with the service and food. It’s a good experience to have dinner here. The sushi chef is very nice, he made me fresh sushi.

Very tasty! After a disappointing "dinner"/snack at a neighboring restaurant we went to this 1 & ate a real dinner. Hot sakes, miso clam, shrimp tempura with mayo & salmon eggs & a few other plates we grabbed off the conveyor. We were running low on cash but soooo worth every penny spent (2133 yen)!!!
