The language barrier is gracefully bridged by the staff's willingness to take orders in English, making it accessible and comfortable for international visitors. The affordability of the menu is a welcome surprise, especially given the exceptional quality of the sushi. In conclusion, Sushi Uogashi Nihon ichi Gotanda is a hidden gem that delivers an incredible sushi experience. The fresh ingredients, perfect rice-to-fish ratio, quick service, and English-friendly staff create a memorable visit. The standing setup might be different, but the focus on outstanding sushi shines through. If you're a sushi lover seeking an affordable yet exceptional dining experience, this restaurant is a must-visit

Really great experience here! Came at 7pm and not too long of a wait. Fish was fresh and delicious. The negi toro was melt in your mouth. The entire place was served by 3 sushi chefs. They had an English menu and they were able to communicate in English and with our broken Japanese. Reasonably priced and a great place to experience stand up sushi.

It was the first time for me to eat at a standing sushi bar, so I supposed first times are always special :’) The Chefs was friendly and luckily, they have an English menu! The sushi tastes amazing and I extremely love their raw squid(?) with mayo. It really melts in your mouth! It’s also just a small walk from the nearby station and easy to find too!
