hidden sushi place just next to station. traditional style. u can order directly or pick from the rolling belt. the staff are friendly to foreigners and the taste is good.

There are a lot of different conveyor belt (also known as kaiten) sushi restaurants in Japan, but this particular chain is easily my favorite. The prices are very reasonable, they run daily specials, and each location seems to vary a bit from the other. Typical price is 100 yen for 2 pieces of sushi. Serve yourself from the belt and make some complementary hot green tea. The chefs will also make sushi to order. Don't forget to say "okaikei wo onegaishimasu" to indicate you are done eating and would like your bill.
