Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan｜Sushi at Amimoto Izu

Very good sushi, but it's a calm somewhat serious vibe. It was very quiet when I went. Everything is in Japanese which can be intimidating if you can't read or speak Japanese. As a foreigner, it seemed the chefs were kind of not too interested in service, for lack of a better word, when my Japanese friend would order. I recommend going with a Japanese person. Sushi is incredible though. Try the samon.

Very nice sushi place where you can choose what you want and tell the chef or staff. They have English menu so you can inform the staff. I like the first bowl of miso soup but somehow upon refill, I find it salty. The sushi are fresh and made when you order except some like tamago.

Very simple small sushi restaurant with a conveyor belt. They display the pictures of the dishes on the belt, or alternatively they have an english menu with pictures too. Point and smile to order. It works perfectly! 😃😃 Sushi is made fast, with a fresh clean taste. Prices are very reasonable.
