More Comments at Google MapSeptember 2023 When I went for lunch during the holidays, it was crowded. When I entered the store around 11:45, it was full! I waited about 25 minutes. It might have been better to line up before 11:30 before opening time... I like conger eel, so I ordered boiled conger eel and conger eel pressed sushi. It was well seasoned, soft and delicious! Salmon, tuna, and other ingredients are fresh and large, filling and delicious! There's a small plate for soy sauce, a towel on the table, and chopsticks in a paper bag. Gari and wasabi can be ordered from the touch panel. Water is self-service. The staff greet you cheerfully, and the store is new and clean! It's also helpful that there is a hand wash basin on the left side as soon as you enter the entrance! I will go again!
Although it was a weekday night, it was a great success. I had to wait about 15 minutes before being served. There are some 100 yen conveyor belt sushi restaurants nearby. This is a conveyor belt sushi restaurant where you can enjoy a little more luxury than that. Since it's a new store, the part-time staff working in the hall felt a little awkward, but they were sincere and worked hard to accommodate us. Inside the counter, you'll find Gatten Sushi's energetic staff working efficiently on the sushi. We had delicious sushi in a pleasant restaurant. I'm a drinker myself, so in addition to sushi, I would have been happier if they had a selection of non-fried snacks, such as assorted sashimi.
I was disappointed when the Suzuya store closed, but a new store has opened nearby. Yono Chuo-dori Street is a conveyor belt sushi war with three stores, Hama Sushi, Gaten Sushi, and Kura Sushi, all crowded within 200 meters. On weekends, it's popular everywhere, and you have to line up to get in, so this format is still popular. Even though it's a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, you can order your favorite toppings using the touch panel, so it's good that you don't have to risk scratching the sushi that spins round and round and becomes shiny. There is also a counter if there are less than two people, so the wait time may be a little shorter.
