More Comments at Google MapWe made our own soba and whole our teacher spoke a small amount of English and we spoke a small amount of Japanese we all were successful under her capable hands. This was a great highlight of the Nagano area
The soba-making experience takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. You can eat freshly boiled soba for 4,500 yen per bowl (for two people). The amount of water, the degree of kneading, and the way the dough is cut will change the flavor considerably, but the craftsmen will follow up carefully, so there is almost no chance of failure. Delicious and fun to eat. Tempura is an option for 450 yen/person.
I visited Togakushi Soba for the first time. I ordered "Seasonal Tempura Zaru Soba" and "Soba Gaki". The soba noodles were boiled a little soft and had a light soba soup. As for the seasonal tempura, I had the grape leaf tempura for the first time and it was delicious. Also, the soy sauce on the soba gaki was mellow and delicious. Since it was a weekday, I was able to enjoy my meal in a relaxed manner. Thank you for the meal!
