Karuizawa, Nagano, Japan｜bird

We went in on a "bistro night" (no yakitori) and ordered course menu. The food is amazing and wine selection is decent. Chef knows what he is doing. There's a mix of Japanese and French flavors. The ingredients are from local farmers. The food is presented in simple but beautiful plates. We would definitely come back.

Very nice food! Stir fried kimchi pork was a dope! We ordered 2 plates. Other dishes are nice with beer and warm sake. Close to the station. Good choice!

Amazing, delicious, wonderful fresh ingredients with rich, complex flavors. Service was impeccable! Our favorite meal in Japan. Thank you!
