Tochigi, Japan｜Yamadaya

Came here for Sunday lunch. The view was nice and I ordered the famous Taihei set (dango, tamagoyaki, yakitori, soba). The yakitori is soft and has the sauce😋The tamagoyaki is a little sweet and goes well with the grated radish! Soba too😋

After cycling through the Ohirayama Hill Climb, we had lunch at Yamadaya, which my wife had praised highly. According to my wife, you should definitely try the famous tamagoyaki and dango, so I asked her to add tamagoyaki to the soba noodles, and she said that the set was a better deal, so she switched to the set and added the extra. They changed the rice I had prepared into dumplings. What a kind clerk! As for the taste, the soba noodles are al dente and crispy, and the tamagoyaki is generously sized and sweetly seasoned. Furthermore, the grated radish that came with it was spicy and very delicious when added to the soba soup. I actually wanted to eat more of the dango, but I was full so I'll look forward to it next time.
