Numazu, Shizuoka, Japan｜SUMIBI YAKITORI SAWAKKO

No reservation, walked in to a fully booked restaurant. They gave us a turmeric to apologizing they are full and we needed to wait. Asked them can we stand at the bar instead because we didn’t mind. Got served there and then got a table when people left. There wasn’t a English menus but they tried they’re best to help us with our order. Great vibe and cozy! Super friend and helpful! Food was a plus!

I use it every time I go to Numazu. It's reasonable and you can make as much shochu or highball as you like with all-you-can-drink. The food is delicious no matter what you eat, and above all, the chicken soup (?) Once I couldn't get in because it was full, so I'm making a reservation in advance after that. Even one person can make a reservation properly (although there are many cases where it is refused).

Maybe it's because it's fresh from Kyoto, but I thought all the menu items were delicious. The chicken itself is delicious. And the soup stock used in various dishes is really delicious. I envy the people of Numazu who have such a good shop.
