Some of you may know the bright yellow building that was used as the filming location for the movie "Blood of the Tiger and Wolf." Yes, there is a building called "Yellow Building" along the Sakai River in Kure. In an alley near the Yellow Building, there is ``Tone'', a long-established izakaya that serves delicious yakitori and sashimi, and is one of the restaurants in ``Okonomikoji'', which is also a filming location. This shop is one of the shops open on Tuesdays. In addition to being open at night, they are also open for lunch, offering set meals, chicken soba, rice bowls, and more. On this day, we had ``Chicken Katsudon'' here. Beneath the bright yellow egg that fills the bowl, two pieces of crispy chicken cutlet are lined up with no space between each other. The cutlet is not sticky, and the soup is just the right amount to soak the rice in. The miso soup has silken tofu, wakame seaweed, and green onions. Both are well-seasoned, relieve fatigue, and make you feel good. It was delicious.

One of the restaurants where you can definitely eat Kure specialties, located on a street with a deep feel. Once I was seated, I ordered beer, miso-daki chicken skin, tulips, and sashimi and waited. It's a good store that locals often visit♪

I received it as a take-out souvenir. The miso-stewed chicken skin skewers were so soft that you could bite them right in your mouth, and the tulip tempura was delicious with the sweet and sour sauce that came with it!
