My husband and I stumbled upon this cozy, hole-in-the-wall tonkatsu shop on an evening walk through Yokohama and decided to check it out. What a great decision! The staff were very friendly and greeted us as we entered. I ordered the katsu curry カツカレー and my husband ordered the special hire katsu set meal 特ヒレカツ定食 。The katsu was cooked to perfection- perfect medium rare, juicy, with a mouthwatering crunchy outside. The curry was sweet, spicy, and rich. They also had delicious condiments to enjoy with the meal. We will definitely be going back! ごちそうさまでした。

There were a lot of people at noon, so I had to wait in line for about ten minutes. You need to buy coupons in the store first and then queue up. It's very delicious, and the meat is very juicy. There is a bowl of pork and radish soup in the set meal, which is also delicious and has a lot of content in the soup. There are several salts and classic pork chop sauces available.

Probably the highest cost value performance for a tonkatsu meal. Their meat is best eaten with salt, truly a delight. Both lunch and dinner are worth it. Suggest to come before it opens to reduce any long wait. Small shop so a big group will likely need to split up.
