Wakayama, Japan｜Tonkatsu Katsuki @Wakayama Store

This store is located inside the large commercial facility "Garden Park". I had been curious about it for a while, but I didn't have a chance to visit, so I finally visited today. Since it was just lunch time, it was quite crowded. I waited about 20 minutes to be seated. I wanted to try the ``shabu pork cutlet'' that is the specialty here, so I ordered the lunch set ``colorful shabu pork cutlet set''. There were free refills of rice, miso soup (corbictail soup), and shredded cabbage. For someone like me who doesn't usually get enough vegetables, shredded cabbage was very helpful. The miso soup with shijimi soup, the sauce, the ground sesame seeds, and the shabu pork cutlet were all delicious.

Today I ordered stick fillet cutlet for the first time. Other pork cutlets are served with tonkatsu sauce and ground sesame seeds, but the fillet cutlet came with salt and ponzu in addition to the sauce, giving it a variety of flavors and making it very delicious.

The miso soup with clams was so delicious that I had to order another one!
