The Toraya lunch special (pork roast cutlet) at just 880 yen was excellent. The fried crispy panko on a large piece of succulent pork was a cooked to perfection. The set also included a heaping of cabbage, miso soup, rice, cucumber slices, and a couple of pieces of sweetened omelette. This is a family run place with the octogenarian owner still working the kitchen. The atmosphere is all Showa, like stepping back in time. This is a truly special place.

A pork cutlet shop along Chazawa Street in Sancha. Go up the narrow stairs to the second floor and on the right Is it a family business? It is run by a small grandma and a small grandpa in the kitchen. This time (above) I ordered the loin cutlet set meal for 1,450 yen. The pork cutlet is huge! Can I eat this... It feels like lol Crispy and delicious! The last time I came here, I ordered the special and regretted it... There are various snacks to go with beer. You can also order a drink set from noon, so you can also use it for drinking purposes. The store has counter seats and table seats. No smoking allowed

I came here after being introduced to it by a real estate agent. I don't usually eat tonkatsu, but it was so thick, soft, and delicious that even I thought it was delicious. The rice was well-cooked and went well with the tonkatsu and sauce, which was also very delicious. I'll come back later.
