Prints receipts with numbers on them, screens across the restaurant with order numbers that are ready to collect and simply collect when your number pops up ready for collection. Free water and green tea available. Delicious and super cheap. I'm disappointed I only discovered this chain on my last day in Japan.

Amazing Tonkatsu (fried pork cutlet) at very affordable prices. The quality will rival those of higher end restaurants but significantly cheaper. A standard tonkatsu set starts around JPY500 offering free refills of rice and miso soup. The trade off is that this is a self service restaurant and the cabbage is not as finely chopped as higher end ones. If you’re looking for a good tonkatsu meal with no frills, this is definitely the place.

Really great tonkatsu at reasonable prices. It’s self-service. You get one ticket per item when you pay at the kiosk. Very near the train station.
