When I was driving, I wanted to eat tonkatsu, so I looked it up and it looked delicious, so I went. It was lunchtime, so the place was full, but I was able to sit down immediately in the tatami room, and it was always full after that. It was my first time, so I ordered the special loin instead of the loin and fillet for lunch. However, many of the customers around me were ordering lunch, and when I looked at it, the cutlet for lunch was thick and big enough! June 2021 I visited Tonkatsu Fuji, which is just across the Akebonobashi Bridge from Hachioji North Exit, but an 18-minute walk away, as soon as it opened just after 11:30. The restaurant is run by three people, perhaps a senior couple and their daughter. So I sat at the back of the counter and ordered a bite of fillet cutlet. Hot tea will be served immediately. It takes more than 10 minutes to fry, so it's difficult when it's crowded or if you're an office worker with a short lunch time. It was served in about 15 minutes. Three LL-sized, egg-sized fillet cutlets that are too large to fit in one bite, each cut in half become bite-sized pieces. As usual, I enjoyed the tender and delicious fillet cutlet topped with plenty of tonkatsu sauce and my favorite, delicious rice bran pickles.
