I thought it was a chain restaurant, but it was the only one...The price was relatively reasonable, and it came with shijimi soup, and it was pretty empty even at lunchtime. Machida has a lot of delicious restaurants, so I guess it's hard to attract customers.

Despite being in a reasonable price range, this place serves delicious tonkatsu. Perhaps because they used good oil, the fried batter was very fragrant. When you bite into a well-oiled pork cutlet, it makes a pleasant crunchy sound. Pork fat has no odor and has a very sweet taste, creating a good balance with the red meat. It was a really delicious pork cutlet that was so soft that it melted in your mouth, yet you could still taste the meat. The rice is firm and chewy, and goes perfectly with the tonkatsu. Shijimi soup is a simple delight. The flavorful miso soup was strong enough on its own, and I felt like I could eat a large portion of rice with just that. I'm thinking of visiting again soon.
