A great family run business with a very 80s Japan vibe. Some of the best Katsu I've had. Very simple but freshly made. The owners were very friendly as well! No English menu but I just recommend getting the ro-su katsu teishoku (pork katsu set menu) as shown in the photo.

It was a highly satisfying shop that I wanted to repeat. I found this shop while taking a walk, and the reviews on Google were divided, so I wasn't sure if I should enter, but I was right! Some reviews say that the meat is thin, the batter is oily, and the mother is unfriendly, but when I went there, it was the complete opposite. The meat is thick and the loin oil is slightly sweet and good (the meat is domestic white pork, as reviewed by other people). The clothes are crispy and the mother is very polite. I don't usually write reviews because it's so different from reviews, but I decided to write a little. The price is 1,500 yen for both loin and fillet set meals at night (800 yen for lunch, 920 yen for tonkatsu set meal). *The above prices do not include tax The miso soup was also delicious with a firm dashi stock. <Postscript: 2020.2.4 Return visit at night> Very delicious as ever! The batter is crispy and the meat is slightly pink and juicy. Among shops in the price range of 1500 yen (excluding tax), this is the No. 1 tonkatsu restaurant for me. The store clerk's grandmother smiles at the customers and makes me feel comfortable. Now it's white pork instead of black pork, but it's a taste that doesn't bother me. The Rib Roast (2,000 yen), which is not on the regular menu, is a really thick cut of delicious fried meat, so if you want to eat a lot of juicy meat, definitely try the Rib Roast.
