Kyoto based Tonkatsu shop which we have frequented in Seijo for years and has been serving delicious Tonkatsu. They do have seasonal Tonkatsu which is a good variation for regulars and recently we tried bamboo based Tonkatsu which was perfectly paired, cooked and delicious. You do have a variety of meat, size and cuts to choose from and their Gohan set is a great value which comes with free flow rice and miso soup. Their miso soup is based of white miso which is different and Kyoto style and adds to the variety of this restaurant.

Delicious tonkatsu, served in a pleasant environment with very good service. The prices are much higher than many other tonkatsu options, but it’s worth it!
