Shinjuku City, Tokyo, Japan｜Tonkatsu Saboten Keio Shinjuku

I’ve tried this restaurant many times, and they do well at maintaining the quality. Although we ordered the basic 2 set menu, the taste and display were good enough to pay more than 2000 yen. Recommend to someone who is interested in fried pork but don’t know where to visit in Shinjuku area.

Visited their another store some years ago, didnt think they were good. But this time visited this branch, really really good. The degree of deep fry is right and the pork, prawn and oysters are so fresh. Japanese pork cutler is always my favorite, this Saboten give me a good memory of taste.

After a long day exploring the city we spontaneously decided to stop here for dinner. Was nicely surprised by how delicious all the food was. The tonkatsu was perfectly panko-crumbed and juicy. Daughter had the katsu curry, and the curry sauce was amazing. Will definitely return.
