This place is located in the basement of a building. The picture doesn't do the food any justice. The curry has a deep savory umami flavor that is incredibly satisfying and unique. The katsu is perfectly done with excellent breading---you can tell from the sound of your utensils scraping across the katsu. Absolutely joining the clean plate club. They accept credit cards at this location.

The Shinjuku branch of a popular store. A shop that famous influencers have posted. It's insanely delicious, but the impression is that it's easy to enter. (Lunch is served until 15:00, so it is recommended to take your time.) The location is right across from Shinjuku Sekaidou. The inside of the store is down a narrow staircase, and there are counter and table seats. I always order the loin set meal. There are kimchi and sweet vinegar ginger on the table to accompany the rice. There are 2 types of sauce and 2 types of salt for tonkatsu, so you can eat and compare variously, so there is not enough tonkatsu. The tonkatsu itself is juicy, the batter is crispy, and the texture is so thick that you won't be able to stop eating it. Basically, I am a person who eats tonkatsu with salt, so I use a different amount of salt and enjoy just one slice with sauce. It's nice that you can get free refills of the rice and cabbage that most tonkatsu restaurants offer. It's a taste that makes you want to eat it regularly.
