This place is an absolute gem 💎 which we chance upon (thanks to the recommendation & review on Google map! 👍🏼). A typical local shop tucked away in an alleyway on 2F of an unassuming building. Though the owner don’t speak much English, they are super nice & accommodating. Taking the time & effort to share the local natural salt to go with the meal & also key highlights of the different dishes. The tonkatsu dishes are amazing! 😋 we have had many tonkatsu in Singapore & Japan, this place is definitely a class above! If you are up for some ‘fat’, would definitely recommend to go for the ‘special pork loin cutlet’, the different layers of pork is truly delicious … would recommend to eat with salt (instead of sauce which can be kind of overpowering). And to top it off, they also offer Yamazaki 12-year whiskey at a great deal 🤤 This is definitely the place to go if you are around the area. Quality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ limited English speaking but amazing service … just use Google translate Value ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ unbelievable value for money … best deal of the trip! This is run by one of the sweetest owners and served as an excellent first meal for my family of 5 in Tokyo. I am extremely glad we found it and definitely recommend it.
