It was very tasty for the price. Almost all the meals are between 500 and 1,000 yen and that includes a big tonkatsu fried pork cutlet on a bed of shredded cabbage with rice and soup. We also got the slightly smaller size tonkatsu with two pieces of karaage chicken which also included bowl of rice and soup. For both of us it was under 1800 yen. For that price it's just hard to beat. (It's cheaper than the McDonald's which is just a few doors down and the tonkatsu portions are far more satisfying ) The store is a bit older so it's slightly run down and short staffed (like so many restaurants these days ) but still they did their best and I was very happy with the quality of food, service, and will definitely go again.

Katsudon is a popular Japanese dish featuring a deep-fried pork cutlet served over rice with a savory and sweet sauce. Delicious and comforting!
