Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan｜Katsukura

I went to "Katsukura" Seibu Higashi-Totsuka store on the 7th floor of Aurora Mall in front of Higashi-Totsuka Station. Aurora Mall is relatively high-end, and “Katsukura” inside is also a reasonably high-end store. After entering the store, I ordered Katsukura's highly recommended "Hirata Bokujo Sangen Pork Loin Katsu Set Meal Medium (160g)". Normally, the rice is "barley rice", so I ordered an additional "tororo" separately. Katsu, miso soup, and pickles were brought. First of all, there are two kinds of sauces, one is "Nakano" mixed with fruits, etc., and the other is "Tonkatsu" with a refreshing taste such as wine. The cabbage was surprisingly finely shredded, and I liked the rich ``chuno'' sauce rather than the spicy ``tonkatsu''. In addition, the pickles are light and delicious as the head office is in Kyoto. Miso soup is also good and the soup stock is effective, and it is delicious with fried white miso. Sangen pork was soft and the fat was sweet and very delicious. The store is bright and clean, and the female staff members keep an eye on us and will call out when we run out of cabbage or rice. Finally, the bonito miso soup and rice are very delicious, but if you order "tororo", you will end up with "barley rice" instead. "Mugitoro" is too delicious! ️

I ordered the fillet cutlet and crab cream croquette, which I hadn't seen in a while. The cutlet and crab koro were delicious, but the combination of freshly cooked white rice that was served upon ordering instead of the standard barley rice, and Katsukurazuke (original pickles) was even more delicious.

At the end of the year, it seemed to be quite popular, but it is wonderful to see the staff moving quickly! ️Tonkatsu and Sangen pork are delicious 🙆🍚
