I went to Tontei Amagi. This is a tonkatsu restaurant located away from Keikyu Kanazawa Hakkei and Kanazawa Bunko. It was a shop that was rooted in the community, with many customers from the neighborhood. It's a small restaurant with one raised table and 6 seats at the counter. To the left of the counter is the kitchen, where the proprietress and a woman are serving customers. The general spoke little and carried out his work in a quiet manner. I took a seat and ordered the special loin cutlet set meal. The stewed burdock garnish is very delicious. After about 10 minutes of waiting, the loin cutlet was fried. The owner told me that they use Sagami Koza pork here. The Sagami Koza pork had less fat, and the lean meat was soft and delicious. One refill of rice is free. The miso soup has a nostalgic flavor with a strong dashi stock. Amagi was a delicious tonkatsu restaurant that was loved by the local community.

I had something to do at Kanazawa Bunko and finished around 1:00 pm, so I searched for pork cutlets around the library. I walked from the library to the site. There were 6 counter seats and 1 Japanese-style room. There was no particular lunch menu, just a set menu. When I entered the store, there were two men and one young woman. A woman entered the store immediately after me and ordered the loin cutlet at the same time as me. The owner is a quiet person, and just before he finished frying, he told the lady working there that he wanted two loins. It's been a while since I've eaten pork cutlet outside, so I took my time to enjoy it. It was a friendly store that even women could enter, so I was able to enter alone without any hesitation. Next time, I decided to try the ginger-grilled set meal and mixed fries set meal that the person next to me was eating.

It's a delicious pork cutlet restaurant located near the Kanazawa Ward Office, albeit in a slightly inconvenient location. There aren't many tonkatsu restaurants in Kanazawa Ward, so I'm glad Amagi is here. I had the special loin, and it was fried to just the right degree with a slight pink color. good! The sauce also seems to be handmade and is very delicious. We had a lot of it. It seems that an old man and an old woman are running the shop, and the shop is too small to accommodate a large number of people. The person next to me was eating ginger grilled meat, and the meat was thick and looked super delicious. Even though it's so thick, why is it soft? That's what I said, so it must have been delicious!
