Good tonkatsu and other (mostly) fried dishes with a very good price. The place is a bit small but it contributes to its homey feeling, very traditional look with many pieces of memorabilia and photos that are hung around the place. The chef and staff were also very friendly to me and the other customers as well. Additionally, even though there is no English menu, I can get by with very basic Japanese and the staff was also very helpful.

Best Tonkatsu I’ve ever tried, juicy and delicious. They have a lot of different options as well, not only tonkatsu and everything I’ve eaten so far has been wonderful. It’s a very small shop so refrain from coming in big groups (max 5 people). No english menu, all in japanese. ごちそうさまでした！

It's just delicious. The loin was tender, not greasy, and delicious. I added a crab. The loin cutlet set meal for lunch was 160g, which was just the right amount for me. The burdock in the minced stew that came with it was soft and I liked it. Both the miso soup and rice tasted better than those at chain restaurants. Next time, I would like to use less loin and add fried shrimp and fried tofu.
