Fantastic food, super friendly and very patient staff.

I went to Tonkichi, which I had visited about 20 years ago. After entering the store, the woman at the store greeted me pleasantly and guided me to the parking lot, which only had one car. The inside of the store had a nice Showa feel to it. I ordered the loin cutlet set meal, and my son ordered the garlic pork cutlet for lunch. During lunch time, a large serving of rice is free. However, since a large serving of rice is quite large, I think the normal amount is enough for women. Before the katsu is served, white and black sesame seeds that you rub yourself will arrive. The sesame seeds here have a very fragrant taste and aroma. The main character, the loin cutlet, has arrived. It's big and thick for a ¥1350 set meal. Take a bite and see. It's juicy and has a very strong taste. It was a great set meal. The garlic pork cutlet looks like the meat has been soaked in garlic, so it has quite a garlic taste and aroma, and is delicious. The miso soup was made with red soup stock, and I enjoyed the nostalgic taste. The reviews say that there are problems with customer service, but I think people who say that should think about how they interact with the store as a customer. The staff at the restaurant wants to have a fun meal, so if we treat each other with respect, I think we'll be able to share delicious and enjoyable meals next time! ️

It has the impression of being an old-fashioned set meal restaurant. There aren't many seats, so it's quite crowded during lunch with construction workers nearby. The tonkatsu set meal is cost-effective at less than 1000 yen. The staff are very nice, and the atmosphere of the shop is reminiscent of an old-fashioned shop that makes you feel at home. It's great if you can grind the sesame seeds yourself and eat them with the sauce.
