The best pork cutlet shop I have ever tried! They only serve the best local pork meat from Japan. The fat and lean meat proportion is perfect! Definitely worth the long wait time (45 mins at Sunday lunch time).

Quiet restaurant near Ueno station. Chef serves tonkatsu personally to the table, and explains how to properly use sauces in great English. Food was very delicious. Atmosphere is rather quiet and serious, but after shouts in every corner of Tokyo it was nice change of pace.

It was an incredible, hole in the wall tonkatsu experience. Only 5 items on the menu, and all equally good sounding. The sauce was amazing, service great and the atmosphere was exactly what I wanted from a tonkatsu restaurant.
