All the menu items are delicious, but I think the miso cutlet is especially delicious (this is my personal opinion). If you are looking for a satisfying meal, choose thick slices and choose side dish-sized pieces to ensure your satisfaction. Please note that the miso soup is super hot, much hotter than you might imagine, so be careful when dipping into it.

2023.10.2 (Monday) The service lunch was 850 yen, but in this day and age when prices are constantly going up, I think they're trying hard. I'm very happy to be able to eat a tonkatsu set meal of this quality at this price. In fact, it feels like the volume has increased, and even I, a big eater, was very satisfied. It's crunchy, chewy, and delicious as ever. The photo is from this time. (Below, previous time) This is a tonkatsu restaurant that has been famous in Tsu City since the Showa era. Service lunch is 750 yen. The meat of the tonkatsu for lunch is not very thick, but as expected from a long-established restaurant, the amount of batter and frying are good, and it is crispy enough. The accompanying salad is also delicious. If you prefer thicker meat, there is also a separate menu. This is a memorable restaurant where I went to eat for the first time with my classmates in 1963, the last year of the Showa era when I started working. Since last year, when I retired early, I have been going there occasionally for service lunches, and they are always delicious. There aren't many seats, so it can get crowded at times, but if you want to eat crispy and delicious tonkatsu, this is a restaurant I recommend.
