Amazing Tonkatsu, worth a visit if your in town.

Very tasty tonkatsu and ebikatsu! I had the mixed plate of half tonkatsu and half ebikatsu. The tonkatsu, which was quite thin (probably hiredkatsu), was possibly the most tender I've ever had. I hardly had to bite and yet the outside was crispy. There is mustard and tonkatsu sauce available to go with it. The ebikatsu was similar, but the apparently homemade tartar sauce was delicious as was the mayonnaise mixed with shiso(?). Miso soup was red miso. Cabbage and rice were refillable . There is also cucumber tsukemono and umeboshi on the table to take freely. Service was excellent. Fast, polite and attentive. The restaurant is very clean, but slightly lacking in atmosphere. Tonkatsu and shrimp cutlet are both very delicious! I had a mixed plate with half pork cutlet and half shrimp cutlet. The rather thin pork cutlet (probably Hirekatsu) was probably the softest I've ever eaten. It was crispy on the outside without much chewing. It also comes with mustard and tonkatsu sauce. The shrimp cutlet was similar, but the homemade tartar sauce and mayonnaise mixed with shiso (?) were delicious. The miso soup was red miso. Cabbage and rice had free refills. There are also pickled cucumbers and pickled plums on the table, which you can pick up as you like. The service was great. Fast, polite, and attentive. The restaurant is very clean but lacks a bit of atmosphere.
