Nagoya, Aichi, Japan｜Misokatsu Yabaton

I ordered half normal and half miso tonkatsu. Their tonkatsu is fresh and crispy and cooked to perfection. The other dish tonkatsu on the hot plate is a bit underwhelming, a bit tough and not that crispy. Overall I am very satisfied with this miso flavour tonkatsu in Nagoya.

I was looking for a traditional Nagoya dish - misokatsu - and this was incredible. The pork was prepared perfectly. It feels like a chain on one of the top floors of a department store (because it is), but the food is more like a small independent restaurant. English language menu available.
