Ichinomiya, Chiba, Japan｜Ichino-ya Tonkatsu Shop

A small family owned shop that specializes in Tonkatsu from different pork cuts. I took the prime cut, which was really tasty and succulent. We also had the Chicken Curry, which was good too, and draft Ashai beer. Owner speaks a bit of English and is really nice and tries to help with recommendations. I also saw that they serve Shabu Shabu, and generally have a big menu.

Regular Tonkatsu was great but the premium cut (Imobuta) was another universe! Simply fabulous. Must try if you are in the area.

Excellent tonkatsu. We dined here twice during our short trip. Portion was big. Highly recommend curry tonkatsu and filet tonkatsu.
