Abiko, Chiba, Japan｜とんかつさとう

We saw this restaurant when we visited the park in front. We dined in for lunch. They have a variety of fried foods in their menu. They have 3 lunch set priced at ¥1,150 each. We ordered their lunch set promo which is a set meal consist of the Main Plate, miso soup, rice(which we changed to big size for no additional payment), salad and fruits. The servings are big and the food is very delicious too! The 3 ladies (I think they are 3 generations of family too-not sure though) working here are attentive to customers, and very friendly too. Will definitely come back again here and would recommend this place.

I came to Abiko for the first time in a while to eat some delicious tonkatsu. Lunch time starts at 11:30, so there was a bit of a wait. About 10 people, including me, entered the store as soon as it opened. It's not very large, so most of the seats were occupied. I was torn between lunch mix and fillet cutlet bento, but I chose fillet cutlet bento! The stews were also delicious and satisfying. It's worth stopping by if you're in the Abiko area. The price is also cheap! It is 1,150 yen including tax. You can also use cards. You can park your car in the paid parking lot across the street for 100 yen per hour!

When I went to Teganuma, there was a tonkatsu restaurant that I was interested in, so I was inquiring about the timing of my visit. I was able to visit on a Saturday morning, and was able to enter the store as soon as it opened. Ordered the lunch mix set (less rice). Before long, freshly fried fries were in front of me. A prominent minced meat cutlet sits in the center, flanked by bite-sized fillet cutlets, fried pumpkin, and fried green asparagus on either side, whet your appetite. All of the fries were hot and crispy and I was very satisfied. There was plenty of cabbage, so I was full even with less rice. It also came with miso soup and dessert and I was very satisfied. Next time I would like to try the fillet cutlet (above). It was a feast.
