Tsu, Mie, Japan｜とんかつ神楽坂さくら 津高茶屋店

I visited after 12 o'clock on a weekday. The parking lot was almost full, but we were guided within a few minutes of waiting time. This is my 5th time visiting this restaurant, and each time the tonkatsu is so juicy and crispy. For daily set meals, you can enjoy combinations for each day of the week, such as loin cutlet or fillet cutlet, minced cutlet or seafood cutlet. Seafood, which has an outstanding appeal, offers the most delicious ingredients depending on the season, such as horse mackerel, yellowtail, and salmon. I especially recommend the pork loin cutlet, which is packed with flavor and is so delicious that you won't be able to stop eating it once you try it. We also recommend pairing it with the classic fillet cutlet, which is low in fat but extremely juicy. Furthermore, the set meal comes with cabbage, miso soup, and rice, but Sakura-san is really happy that the rice is cooked in a clay pot and served straight from the pot. We eat the rice from the earthenware pot and put it in a bowl ourselves, and it's cooked very fluffy and fragrant, making us feel happy every time we eat it. Another great service is that you can get refills of rice, cabbage, and miso soup. Sweet/dry sauce and miso sauce for tonkatsu, and sesame and shiso dressing for cabbage are prepared on the table, so you can choose according to the toppings and taste. You can change the miso soup to pork soup for an additional fee, but I like the shijimi soup. The pickles that come casually with the meal are of exquisite taste and quantity, and the tea served in the Shiretto pot is delicious and very satisfying. This is a restaurant that is guaranteed to be a repeat customer for more than once a month!

I entered the store for the first time because I wanted to eat at a different tonkatsu restaurant once in a while. A little extravagantly, I ordered a limited quantity stick fillet set meal and a single cream croquette. The meat was tender and very delicious. You can refill the rice, cabbage, and miso soup. It was a shop I wanted to use again.

I went for lunch on a weekday. As it is still a new store, the inside of the store has been designed to give you a sense of the warmth of new wood. I was shown to a tatami room, and I was able to sit comfortably in the horigotatsu style. There was a lunch menu available, so I chose the daily lunch special. I also ordered minced meat cutlet. The rice is oven-fired and has enough for two bowls. Refills of rice, miso soup, and cabbage are free, but there's a lot of rice. The meat is also thick and extremely soft. Also, when you break the added minced cutlet with chopsticks, the meat juice will overflow from inside. There are three types of sauce. Everything goes well together. The price was reasonable and it was a great deal.
