Chiyoda City, Tokyo, Japan｜Yakitori no meimon Akiyoshi Kanda

Simple yakitori place near our hotel in Kanda station. Very busy. Not a long queue. We managed to get a seat for our group of 6ppl around 7.30pm on a Tuesday night towards end of April. Menu has photos and English description. Easy to point and order. Some staff speaks enough English to make it a pleasant meal experience. Reasonable price too.

The food is very tasty and the people working are very nice !

My daughter-in-law is from Fukui Prefecture, so ``Please come to Akiyoshi,'' I decided to visit the restaurant for the first time on a business trip from Niigata to Tokyo, which is two stops from where I was staying and close to Kanda Station. Even though I had gathered a fair amount of advance information online before heading there, the feeling of seeing it live was completely different. The older brother, who is responsible for running the grilling area, never takes a break and continues to grill all day long even in the heat of the day, and I was very impressed with his sincere work. There are 5 servings per person, but since they are small, they are easy to eat and there is no problem with that. When I double-checked with the store manager about something I had probably forgotten to order, he was very apologetic and responded well, making it clear that this store is a popular store. I also found out that there is a store in Niigata, so the next time I go back to my hometown, I would like to go there with my family, including my son-in-law from Fukui.
