Meguro City, Tokyo, Japan｜Perori Curry

Came to this area to see the Edo Firemen's Annual Memorial at Yutenji Temple and passed by while on my way back to the JR station. I was hungry and still deciding where and what to have for lunch. While waiting at the traffic light to cross, the aroma of the curry carried my nose towards this small little curry house. Simple menu and I decided to go for the standard katsu curry rice. The pork katsu was prepared upon order, dipped in the batter then crumbs then into the oil deep fryer. A cute tiny americano on the house, can further top up plain water to drink. The portion was just right and it was a very filling lunch. The tonkatsu was tender and juicy.

Great food - very tasty and good price! Ate here on numerous occasions and it has become the benchmark for Katsu curry for me. A cosy little place with charm

Good taste and lots of curry, rice. You need to wait sometimes cuz it is small, cozy place.
