If you are also an ox tongue fan, you cannot miss this little cozy shop on ikebukuro.

Negishi will always be my comfort zone for gyutan. The Texture and the taste are so reliable whenever and wherever you visit. Just like other branches, Ikebukuro one is always crowed, they also have another shop in the same street (both crowed anyway lol). My recommendation is go for the thick sliced shirotan because it is all you ever need to taste and feel the real gyutan! Try it with chilli flakes on the rice too, it’s perfect combination!!

Foods are great and superb! You may feel intimidated to enter at first because if their price but knowing that rice is refillable makes the price reasonable. High quality meats used and friendly staff who speaks enough English. Will come again and will recommend trying! I recommend their Blanky set meals with egg and chicken teriyaki as add on to full your stomach with delights. They accept credit card payments.
