I learned about the deliciousness of beef tongue after eating it in Sendai before. Since then, I have been looking for a branch in the Kanto area in Sendai, and have visited here several times. Other beef tongue restaurants in Kanto are also delicious, but I still like Kisuke ♫

"Aji no Gyutan Kisuke Grand Tree Musashi Kosugi Branch" is located on the 1st floor of Grand Tree Musashi Kosugi. The inside of the restaurant is not large, but the tables that seat four people are comfortable. There seems to be waves of crowding, and depending on the time, there may be lines at the waiting areas separated by ropes. In order to bring out the original flavor of the beef tongue, they are particular about traditional handwork, craftsmanship, and ingredients (beef tongue from grain-fed cows). In the kitchen, a chef is grilling beef tongue over a flame. I always look at it with gratitude and say, ``It looks hot...'' as I wait. The special cut thick-yaki set meal is cut thicker than regular beef tongue at approximately 1 cm, so you won't be able to get enough of the luxurious texture. Because it is aged with kippah (cuts), you can enjoy its juicy taste. Charcoal-grilled Beef Tongue Set Meal Shio-flavor is Kisuke's signature flavor, made by hand-seasoning each piece of grilled Ako salt by a craftsman and slowly aging it to lock in the umami. We shared a little at a time and both were delicious. The set meal comes with barley rice, pickles, and tail soup. The meat in the tail soup was large, and I felt like I was able to ingest a good amount of collagen and elastin. I sometimes have a strong urge to eat beef tongue, and it tastes like something I can't get at home, so I keep repeating it.
