If you’re visiting Japan, craving wagyu, and want to try a huge variety, definitely stop by here!! My partner and I were walking through Pontocho street at dinnertime looking for something to eat, and stumbled into this restaurant! You don’t need a reservation, and we ordered the Wagyu Kobe and Wagyu Yonezawa courses. It’s not a cheap dinner, BUT(!) we would say it knocks the value out of the park. We got SO MUCH HIGH QUALITY MEAT for the amount that we paid, and it was all DELICIOUS. Steak is my favorite food, and I think the large Kobe tenderloin fulfilled the exact reason why I love steak. Each bite is the perfect amount to try and we had so much fun tasting everything trying to figure out how they tasted different! Note: the steak course does come with some veggies to grill to balance things out, and the restaurant does have a 2 hour time limit per table.

we intended to go to other places to eat sushi but it was golden week and all the other restaurants didn't accept walk-in customers. I came across this restaurant and it really gave me a surprise. The beef was juicy and given an A score by my asian parents

Pleasant surprise for an ad hoc visit as the other restaurants were mostly full for dinner. Diner is located in the inner alley. Atmosphere was comfortable for dining. Food was absolutely delicious. We tried the chef recommendation for 5 kinds rumen and sashimi and was not disappointed. All beef served was of a higher quality. Service by staff is very good as they try their best to explain to you in simple English. P.s. do try the tongue cuts and yukhoe as well if you're up for it.
