Hitashi soba is delicious. I think it's quite unusual that the soup with kakiage and the noodles are separate. I often see elderly people ordering large portions, but since there are quite a lot of them, I think the regular one is enough. Normally there are quite a lot.

I haven't been there since high school, so I don't remember much about it, but the atmosphere inside the store hasn't changed at all and it felt nostalgic. You order first at the register, and you are free to take a seat. The tables are long, so you can share seats. I received a normal mix of Hitashi Tempura Soba, and it tasted the same as before. The soba noodles were soft and short, and the udon noodles were thick, long, and soft. I personally like it. Even a normal portion was enough. Kaeshi is a sweet type that I like. The large piece of tempura absorbs the soup completely, and it's a pleasure to eat it with the noodles. It was delicious and I kind of regretted not having gone before. From now on, I want to go every day it's open.
