Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan｜Sapporo Zangi Hompo Sapporo Chiken

Small cozy restaurant with delicious omellete and Zangi chickens with different flavours. English menu available. We ordered an omelette, and 2 of the variety Zangi which came with 4 flavours. Added on 2 large rice and this was enought for family of 2 adults and 2 young children. Appetiser of shredded cabbage included. The fried gyoza (came in 4 pieces) was alright, not a must try. The tartar chicken and seaweed salt chicken are both delicious but we had to take away. Since there's not much space in the restaurant, take away is recommended as it can be crowded.

Delicious Zangi and gyoza! This place is tucked away between nakajimakoen and Susukino but it worth the search! Come for the traditional Izakaya experience with great food. English, Korean menu available!

Decided to find a place offering Zangi after some research saying it's a must try in Hokkaido. Found this in the entertainment district of Susukino and went ahead to try. We were given the English Menu when they notice we don't speak Japanese. (Plus point for attention to service) Ordered the one with four different flavours to try all flavours. The chicken was fried well, and remains tender and juicy. The omelette was just alright for us. The chef came to explain to us the four flavours we are having which is really good service. Recommended for anyone who would like try the local fried chicken 🐔 Sidenote: There was an earthquake midway through the meal and advance warning with alarm was sent to my phone. The locals acted normal so we followed suit 😂
