The different flavoured fried chicken is delicious! Service was very patient and helpful. One of the best meals in Tokyo! <edit> Had to make a return visit before leaving Tokyo and it still easily ranks as a favourite! Tried a spicy chicken this time (as well as the breast/thigh mixed set) and it was just as delicious. Definitely worth the visit - cannot wait to return again. Thank you! <edit2> Here in Tokyo again and this time came with friends for dinner. Slightly different menu but still just as delicious - even better than I remember it! Best place for fried chicken - hands down! <edit Nov 2023> Cannot praise Ichiban Karaage enough - still THE place for fried chicken (best I've had without exception and I've had a lot). We dined-in and also bought take-out including a variety of dishes. Favourites include the signature garlic fried chicken (thigh meat), signature ginger fried chicken (breast meat) and the spicy fried chicken wings.

The atmosphere, food and service were all incredible. The gluten free fried chicken was delicious and the drinks were great quality.

Totemo oishi karaage desu!!! Very delicious karaage! I had a 10 piece meal (5 thigh and 5 breast) and a large ginger ale and my wife had 4 piece garlic and soy (2 thigh and 2 breast). After we ordered we saw a 4 piece that had 2 pieces garlic and soy and 2 pieces ginger and soy on the menu. We will try that next time! It was a lot of very good food for only ~3500 yen. Inside is very small. We got lucky and only had to wait 10 minutes for a place to sit and eat.
