Iwakuni, Yamaguchi, Japan｜Go Go Curry

Tried this new curry place a couple of days ago and I was not disappointed. The curry is darker than what you would find at another famous chain curry restaurant. I prefer the darker curry so I was excited to try Go! Go! Curry. I ordered the small chicken cutlet curry and it was more than enough for me. I really liked the flavor of the curry and my chicken cutlet was nice and crispy. You order via a machine when you walk in. There is English so it’s very easy to navigate. Right now they only had one spice lever, which was medium. It wasn’t that spicy so I was able to eat it. I was a little worried because I can’t really eat spicy food, but it was fine. They said that they will be offering different spice levels in the near future. Once you place your order and get your receipt from the machine, you sit down and someone will come by to take your receipt from you. Also, right now they are only able to accept cash payment. I believe that will change in a week or two though and they will be able offer more options for payment. Service was really good and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. I thought the prices were reasonable. They also offer takeout and they sell their instant curry in a box, in case you want to keep a couple in your pantry for a rainy day. Parking is available.

Curry good, chicken good, spice good. Rice portion is decent. Price was great; I had a medium. Parking was a little close to the front.

Good food, great katsucurry here with excellent sizes for its price. Parking is awkward and close at the front of it, but the open lot to the side is for the place as well, be careful, some sides may have a curb. Monke.
